Aun no tenemos ni review de los que acaban de llegar y ya tenemos que ir preparando datos de estos prototipos, que buena pinta tienen!

Even we do not have not review from that they have just come and already we have to go preparing information of these prototypes, which good looks(dot) have!

Hola

I made another prototype SCS for the PDI Hop-up which I think will work...

I've been thinking very hard lately about all the possibilities of having a 1 piece design rather than a 2 piece design (because of stability issues).

If the 1 piece SCS for PDI is used, it is more stable since both sides can be lowered or lifted with the use of the 2 hop levers...

The 2 piece SCS might get misaligned in the middle of the two hop levers... :P

We will see what will be best when I finish the prototypes and send it there for you to test... :D

Congratulations! Do not forget to adjust the hop up very slowly until you get your desired range. ;D

Felicidades! No se olvide de ajustar el lúpulo muy lentamente hasta llegar a su rango deseado.  ;D

Esto podría ayudar... http://alakdan.net/scs-1.html

M14Scharfschutze - I don't know it will work or not since I am only familiar with the BAR10 and L96 Hop up. Maybe Hari can help you out. :)

Mapasha - Congratulations! ;D

kilgore - I was informed that there is an issue with the 2 hop levers of the PDI unit. Some PDI Hop up units are said to "come with the low hop bars installed instead of the "normal" height that it should have come with". (quoted from Ben (bnoji) the US distributor of EdGI)

I order, dozens (and when I say dozens I mean 20 or 30) PDI hop ups, and always come with the normal bars (not the low not the high, anyway I have a pair of High ones....).I will have to talk to Bnoji about that (also, I need to contact TFC, but he seems to be missing the lasts moths), because I haven't notice that yet. Anyway I think we miss something, Why don't we do the PDI bars the way we want? is not a complicated desing, and we could do them to fit perfecty in the new SCS for PDI hop. That could be a real revolution, because in airsoft sniping world we have limited thing to improve, but thats a new way, not only the SCS for the PDI, the bars could be done too, and the fitting problem will be no more. Now we should think in a pair (this time we don't need them simetrical, we need some kind of conicals ones) of bars with the silouette the same as the top surface of the SCS (I still bet into the 2 parts SCS). I haven't got time to think about that too much (I still have 10 days of hard work with the finals in the university), but I give you this new way so you can work with. I hope Koldo (Pikatchu) could do some drawings (he always improve my "born-from-the-brainstorm" ideas). Shredder if you don't know how to do a Hop bar, talk with Ed to see if he have any clue (mecanics isn't my best skill =P).

M14Scharfschutze si al VRS, y del Tanaka....pilla el Hop de King Arms por dios, con el de serie no le das ni a las moscas...

I need drawings and measurements for the hop bar. I will be using engineering plastic for it that is very durable and light. I will be going to Manila (I live in another island) next week to search for materials/tool/ accessories and buy them. I will be back home on February 16 and I hope that the drawings and measurements are finished by that time. I will not be able to go online next week since there is no internet connection to the place where I am staying. If you need anything next week, Ed (EdGI) has my cellphone number and we can contact each other. :)
