 Hello I'm owner jefftron company, here is my statement about this problem:
I test it in my gearbox and simulated trigger hop up during opening the gearbox.
I have never managed to break microswitch, but I recommend to move cut off lever to up position (selector plate on AUTO), microswitch arm will be out of reach the spring. Secure trigger by heavy object, like hammer, trigger will not hop-up and after releasing AEG spring you can gently remove trigger out of gearbox. See pictures in this post

I believe you will manage to handle with trigger right and there wont be problems in the future. Anyway warranty still count for this situation.










BTW: verification into this forum is hell for me...

respecto al jefftron para ak, me acabo de dar cuenta de una ventaja que tengo, este guearbox retroarms tiene cambio rapido de muelle, asi que puedo abrir y cerrar sin tantas complicaciones.
Me ha vuelto a escribir el señor jeff, desde luego hay que admitir que no se esconde y que responde rapido, punto y ademas importantisimo a su favor
Como mi ingles no es para tirar cohetes  pongo solo el original, y que alguien me lo traduzca por favor , a veces el google traductor te lia un poco

Si lo quieres para jugar en semi, te da igual ASCU que jefftron.
PEro si quieres usar el auto, teniendo un super semi, es donde el jefftron te será más útil, pues puedes controlar la cadencia del auto, dejando igual el semi.

Esto tiene si utilidad, pues si la cadencia es muy alta, el auto pierde alcance. De esta forma puedes mantener el super semi, pero dejar el auto en un punto que sea rápido, pero no un desmadre, y así tenga el mismo alcance en semi que en auto.

Jefftron, yet again many thanks for your prompt feedback.
We have all noticed since your very first email regarding this issue how good service we can get from you and this makes me keep on working on the problem in a quite positive way (many other manufacturers just don't care). Having registered on this forum is just amazing!
Welcome to the forum, I belonged to AM more than a decade ago and built myself this forum (I'm user #1 heh).

Regarding the trouble with the lever switch, I agree that holding the trigger could help but frankly speaking there is still quite a big chance for the trigger to slip anytime and damage the lever, it is WAY too fragile, a sturdier lever switch could do the job perfectly.

Also, please bear in mind that when opening any standard gearbox the cylinder and spring guide have to be held by hand and simultaneously pull the gearbox shell, meaning still holding a slippery trigger with a hammer would not work all the times and the chances to damage the lever switch are really high.

As said, without calling into question your enginereeing, I trully believe another type of smd lever switch could be used.

Estoy yo desde ayer con el por email analizando el asunto y pese que tu labor sea de agradecer entiendo que si mas de uno (teniendo en cuenta que yo soy el afectado) le está pidiendo explicaciones puede resulta algo lioso. Me ha sorprendido que apareciera en mi bloq y en el foro y entiendo que has sido tu quien le ha pasado los links.

Lonelytracker, yo le he mandado el link de este hilo.
Pero le he consultado, porque tengo ya el mosfet preparado para instalar y porque el me dijo que no iba a haber ningun problema con dicha instalacion, por eso se los compre a el.
Asi que al ver lo que te habia pasado, me he querido curar en salud, y si por casual rompe el mosfet, que me haga una devolucion del dinero sin problemas.
Respecto al ascu gen 4, si que me podria interesar, pues si  que uso el auto, cada vez menos, pero lo uso.
Y sobre todo me interesa el tema de fiabilidad, pues los modelos anteriores tenian fama de fallar, y no es barato

I'm looking for different microswitch, but is isn't easy, and it will take at least couple weeks to test and implement changement. But I think you do too big affair from this. There wont be problem with careful instalation.

Hi JeffTron, at first many thanks for take time to answer our questions and send images for how you think to resolve the problem.
We know it is many time to try and take solutions for each one gun and config.....
So... that I have trouble with my Steyr AUG... I took off the full auto and connect the wires as you explain on your diagrams for that AEG, so never can work it, try a lot of different configs. and no response on trigger or half jumps on gearbox. Please if you can help me on private message....
Even all I try before took off the full auto ( original AUG config.)as you explain and never work, same problem.

Processor unit V3 is NOT compatible with AUG weapon. AUG has different trigger contacts. It is possible to fire SEMI only. there isn't selector plate to rise UP cut off lever to get AUTO fire.
In product description and manual is about that warning.

to aug weapon it have to be connected according this picture:

not other modification in geabox is necessary. trigger mechanics have to be working (without processor unit have to work semi and auto fire)
try reset extreme processor unit to factory settings

Despues de leer el hilo entero viene de camino un jefftron para mi As-Val. Ya iré contando si me encuentro algún problema durante la instalación y si soy capaz de ponerlo en funcionamiento sin cargarmelo...

Yo compré uno para mi ASVAL. No volveria a comprarlo salvo que cambien el diseño.
